My primary research is on structural epistemic rationality— what it makes sense for you to believe given your epistemic perspective. In addition to Epistemology, I also work in Meta-philosophy, Philosophy of Science, and dabble in a few other areas as well.
I have a keen interest in the science of learning, and work to integrate best practices from the literature into my pedagogy. I have extensive teaching experience in Applied Ethics and Critical Thinking, and have also taught a variety of courses, from the introductory to graduate-level.
In 2014 I started VDG, a free service for PhD candidates in philosophy. It connects students from around the world to get low-stakes peer feedback on work from their dissertations. To date, VDG has served hundreds of students from 39 countries.
